Are we really all alone in the universe? It’s an age-old question that some people would really like an answer to. Though there had been written accounts of Unidentified Flying Objects as early as the 11th century, the idea of Extra Terrestrials visiting earth didn’t really become popular un the United States until shortly after the supposed alien space ship crash in Roswell, New Mexico in 1947. Shiny metallic debris was found and removed from the site, some say burned alien cadavers were as well. A press release came from the Roswell Army Air Field saying that they had recovered the remnants of a ‘flying disk’ that had crashed, but soon after released another statement explaining that it seemed to be a weather balloon. Being very trusting of the government, nobody questioned it for around 30 years. Then a man who was at the ‘crash site’ all those years ago, a one Major Jesse Marcel was interviewed and he said that he believed the government had covered up the incident. This was enough to put a lot of attention back on the event and get everyone trying to uncover ‘what really happened’.

Don’t believe it? You don’t have to. But Roswell wasn’t the only incident of UFO and related suspicion, and it most certainly wasn’t the only time anyone ever claimed they saw a flying saucer. Suspicious, lights, orbs, saucers, and other ‘ships’ have been seen all over the world by people young and old, rich and poor, sane and insane. Thousands upon thousands of sightings.

People have found livestock gruesomely mutilated the next day after seeing lights in the sky the night before, they have seen ships from the sky dive straight into the ocean at breakneck speeds and visa versa. Some also claim that they have personally come face to face with these alien beings and not all of them are friendly. But whether you believe that these people were experimented on or whether it was a botched hypnotherapy job, whether you believe that they saw lights in the sky or not;  it doesn’t change the fact that so many people have witnessed something that they can not explain, or that the military can not identify as either domestic or foreign.

If we are completely alone in this vast universe, then what the hell is everybody seeing up there?
