 Army Man
Everyone wants to be a little badass sometimes, and most often this means that you wind up with a leather jacket and a motorcycle. But you don’t need to make any permanent life changing decisions if you just want to be badass for a little while, you could make it happen for Halloween. There are many different ways to do this of course, from simply picking out things that you’ve always wanted to try and dressing as such; for example the leather jacket thing I was talking about. (You could spice it up with one of those ‘fake tattoo sleeves’ to give the illusion of ink, if you wanted.) To making a costume so over-the-top amazing that everyone will forever consider you the most badass Halloween party-goer in the history costume of their lives.
While browsing the internet it’s easy to see who attempted, and who accomplished this goal. One such man probably had a thought process that went along the lines of ‘the military is definitely badass, but there’s nothing too special in dressing in a uniform. I know what would be cool, being a toy army soldier.’ Now, this doesn’t sound too impressive on paper, but the way he went about doing it is what made it so incredibly amazing and unique. This man got himself a uniform, boots, gun, and helmet just like the little toy soldiers wore, and painted them all the same shade of green. But that wasn’t enough, he painted himself green too. As you can see from the photo, it had a jaw-dropping spectacular effect. If he showed up to a Halloween party I was throwing, he would win ALL the costume contest prizes.
Sometimes the way to be the most badass isn’t by attempting to look tough, but by having a unique idea and making it a reality in as flawless a way as you can manage. You’ll be remembered for decades, and it will rock.

Na na na na na na na na BATMAN
The average person can spend thousands of hours watching television and movies throughout their lifetime. We talk about movies with our friends, on the internet, and when getting to know someone for the first time. Movie critics make a living out of having an opinion on the movies they watch and we trust them (or rather, some of us do) to tell us whether or not a movie is worth paying ten dollars to go see in the theater during opening week. With how involved movies are in our relationships and daily lives, its no wonder that being a movie character for Halloween would be a great way to impress friends. A few things to consider before choosing which movie to be a character from; do your friends watch the same kind of films as you, and would they recognize this character if he/she did not have a recognizable outfit? There’s really no fun in being a movie character that dresses like any old joe off the street, because what that really says is that you didn’t want to bother with a Halloween costume that year, and pulled some clothes out of your closet. (If you feel that you have to go this route, at least where a “hello my name is…” nametag) But the most fun comes from picking a recognizable character and acting a little like them while at the party.
One costume I would love to see is Nosferatu from the silent film by the same name. I don’t care that that film was made in in the 1920s, that creature is terrifying, moreso than a lot of current movie monsters that rely on gore to do the scaring.
Of course there are plenty of superhero movies out there and plenty of superheroes to be. You don’t even have to worry about making the costumes, as most of these are available to purchase.

 Black Widow
It seems like it’s time once again to start asking that age-old question… no, not “what is the meaning of life?” (We all know the answer to that is 42). The Question I’m talking about is; “What should I be for Halloween?” It seems like we always start asking that question of ourselves a little too late in the game. By the time we’re seriously thinking about what we want to dress up as for that party or company function, it’s already crunch time. Like with most holidays, that means that the stores are full of people who have procrastinated (just like you) and are now trying to find the perfect costume only a week or so before the day they need it by. It’s hectic, and involves waiting in lines; two things that nobody really wants to deal with. So my advice to you is to start brainstorming now! There are tons of funny, sexy, and cool costumes out there, it just takes a little creativity, or some time on a search engine to find them.
But what if you‘re not particularly creative, or you absolutely hate spending your free time google-ing without any good results? That doesn’t mean you have to suffer! Because right here in this blog, I’m going to provide you (or anyone interested, for that matter) with some fantastic costume ideas for this upcoming Halloween.
If you’re the type that likes things simple and quick, I’ve got links to online shops where you could easily buy exciting and well made costumes and have them shipped right to your house. But if you’re the “do it yourself” type, I also have ideas for how to jazz up those store-bought costumes, or put together your own using things you might have around the house or could easily get at thrift stores. What if you’re really crafty? Sewing tips will be included too!
So just sit back, relax, and browse though. You wont regret it.
